About
Thirty-five years of sitting with families on the good days and the hardest ones — and a practice built deliberately outside the product model.

“Being a Financial Advisor gives me that added layer of knowledge to help clients.”
About
Fred Perry has spent more than thirty-five years in financial services and client solutions, working with families, retirees, executors, trustees, and business owners across Canada and the United States. As a Certified Personal Fiduciary, he operates independently — organizing, protecting, and transferring wealth on behalf of the people who own it, not the institutions that hold it.
His practice sits deliberately outside the traditional product model. Fred is not an insurance salesperson or a stockbroker. He coordinates attorneys, accountants, and investment professionals around a single written plan, then remains accountable for keeping that plan current as families and laws change.
He is also a Bank On Yourself® Authorized Professional, and much of his work involves the unglamorous but decisive details: beneficiary designations, estate liquidity, incapacity authority, and the family conversations most people postpone.
His mission is straightforward — that no family he works with is ever left guessing. Independent. Objective. Always your advocate.
Trust & Education
A Certified Personal Fiduciary provides professional services in the areas of estate, income and tax filing, protection, and investment management — including maintaining adequate, accurate record-keeping, a standard Fred has upheld from day one.
No proprietary products to push, no sales quotas to meet. Guidance is shaped by your circumstances alone.
Recommendations are measured against your goals, your family's needs, and the numbers — not a product shelf.
A fiduciary standard means a legal and ethical duty to act for you, with full transparency and disclosed conflicts.
Your lawyer, accountant, and investment professionals working from one shared plan instead of separate silos.

The Distinction
Most families already have capable professionals. What they lack is someone whose responsibility is the space between them — the beneficiary designation that contradicts the will, the trust that was never funded, the tax consequence nobody owned. That coordinating role is the heart of the fiduciary relationship.
In Their Words
“Fred was the first person who explained our estate plan in language we actually understood. We finally know what happens, and who does what.”
